CAMBRIDGE, Mass. - Coach Jim Costa has been hired as Lesley University men soccer assistant coach for the 2007 campaign.

Costa comes with a long track record of coaching and playing the game. Along with his new responsibilities at Lesley, Costa is a staff coach in the Massachusetts ODP program. He is also a staff coach with Eastern mass FC a premier youth club based out of Canton, Mass. Costa has both his USSF National B License along with his NSCAA Advanced National Diploma.

A graduate of Stoughton High School, Costa went onto play at Massasoit Community College where he won a NJCAA National Championship in 1987. Following that he played 10 years of semi professional ball in the L.A.S.A league.
