Men's soccer falls to Curry

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. - Curry College got two goals from Chris Spreadbury and rolled passed the Lesley Lynx 4-1.  Although the school indicates a mismatch the Lynx played Curry extremely tough and Curry was on the receiving end of some well placed shots in an extremely physical match.

Lesley Univeristy's lone goal came from Steve Monteiro (Shelton, Conn.) who got a beautifully placed ball from Scott Wheeler (East Hampton, Conn.) and headed it in, in the 9th minute.

Monteiro's goal tied the game up after Spreadbury got his first goal of the game in the 4th minute off of a pass from Matt Boyle.  Then in the 27th minute Boyle netted the game winner in an assist from Graham Becker.

The second half saw Spreadbury score in the 57th minute, assisted by Adam Gould, and Clayton Corto score in the 65th minute, assisted by Spreadbury.
