Malcolm Andrews began his coaching career as an assistant coach at Lesley University in 2010.

Andrews attended high school in Medford, MA, where he was a three-year varsity player and two-year captain.  He played his first year of collegiate basketball at Salem State College, becoming part of the program's winning tradition while leading the Vikings to a first-place finish.

Andrews transfered to Lesley and became the Lynx starting center, helping the 2006-2007 team to the school record for wins in a season. Two out of the three years he played at Lesley, the team made runs in the conference postseason tournament, and he won the Most Improved Player and Most Valuable Player awards in his time on the Lynx.

His passion as a player is only surpassed by his love of coaching, to which Andrews is no stranger. He has over four years of AAU coaching experience, working with athletes who have gone on to play at every level of basketball.  He has worked at various camps including the Red Auerbach Basketball School, Five Star, Paul Peirce Camp, and the Boston Celtics Summer Camp.

Andrews graduated from Lesley with a bachelor's degree in English.
