ATTLEBORO, Mass. – The New England Collegiate Conference announced today that Lesley University junior Devon Mayo (Newport News, Va.) was voted by the coaches to the Men's Basketball All-Conference Second Team while classmate Fabrice Louissaint (Everett, Mass.) was placed on the All-Sportsmanship Team. NECC Assistant Commissioner for Media Relations Rebecca Mullen made the announcement this afternoon.
Mayo led the team and finished fourth in the conference with 21.0 points per game in 16 NECC matchups. In 25 games overall this season, the junior guard led the Lynx averaging 18 points per game while finishing second on the team with 6.1 rebounds and 3.6 assists per game.
He finished in double-figures in 20 of his 25 games, including going off for a career-high 35 in a win over Newbury College.
Louissaint was added to the All-Sportsmanship Team for the Lynx. The junior forward capped the 2015-16 campaign with a season-high five points against Elms College.
