NASHUA, N.H. - In their final contest of the 2008-2009 season, the Lesley University men's basketball team suffered a 90-59 loss to Daniel Webster College.  The Lynx ended their season with a 5-20 record (2-12 NECC) while the Eagles will move into the conference playoffs with a 16-8 (10-4 NECC) mark. 

Leading the Lesley offense was sophomore Nijel Robinson (Plainsboro, N.J.) who scored 19 points on 8-of-16 from the floor including 3-of-6 from long range.  Robinson also dished out two assists and recorded a steal in the loss.

Malcolm Andrews (Medford, Mass.) and Jesus Trejo (Methuen, Mass.) also tallied double-digit points with 17 and 14 points, respectively.  Andrews also grabbed six rebounds and had four blocked shots in his final game in a Lynx rebound.  Trejo tallied yet another double-double as the sophomore added 10 rebounds to his game totals.

The Lynx were unable, however, to stop Daniel Webster's three-point attack as the Eagles shot 50.0% from beyond the arc making 14-of-28 attempts.  Chris Hanson (Salem, Mass.) scored 21 of his game-high 29 points on 7-of-12 from three-point land and teammates Brian Inge (Fort Washington, Md.) and Tim Jackson (West Henrietta, N.Y.) each hit three deep balls apiece.  Inge finished with 24 points while Jackson had 15. 

Despite hitting only 33.3% of their shots in the first half, Daniel Webster held a 37-28 halftime advantage.

In the second half, the Eagles exploded for 53 points on 63.0% field goal percentage.  Daniel Webster would make nine three-pointers in the final period to help put the Lynx away.
