LEICESTER, Mass. - The Lynx closed out the game on a 12-0 run as they came from behind to defeat Becker College 78-69.

Becker was led by Shawn Fuller and Emmanuel Masumbuko.  Fuller scored a game high 25 points while Masumbuko scored 21 and added 14 rebounds.  Jeremy Rivers had a game high nine assists.

The Lynx led at halftime 39-34.  Becker and Lesley went back and forth to start the second half with both teams failing to take control of the game.  Then Fuller sank a three with 12:21 left, giving Becker 49-48 lead.  Masumbuko struck just 30 seconds later giving Becker a three point lead and completing a Becker 10-0 run.

Lesley would not let the game slip away and with 8:39 remaining Matt Grassa (Everett, MA) buried a three to tie the game up at 55.  Rivers would respond with a quick bucket taking the lead back for Becker.

Lesley would finally regain the lead as Andrews hit a pair of free-throws with 5:53 remaining.  However, Becker would respond once again.  Rivers would hit one of two free-throws and then Fuller would score again putting Becker up 64-62 with 5:09 left to play.

Masumbuko would put Becker up three with 1:56 to play as he converted a lay-up.  However, those would be the last points that Becker would score.  Over the remaining 1:56 Lesley would close out the game on a 12-0 run.

With the win the Lynx improve to 8-9 overall and 5-5 in the NAC.  The Lynx will travel to Newbury College on Tuesday, January 30th to take on the Nighthawks.  For more information on the Lesley men's basketball team please go to their website.
