New London, CT- A ninth inning walk off home run pushed the Mariners past the Lynx, as Lesley will now look to advance through the loser's bracket of the NECC conference tournament. 

Inside the Game:

• The first run of the game would not come across until the third inning, as a sac fly drove in the first Mariner to make it 1-0. 
• A fourth inning double saw the next run score, making it 2-0 in favor of Mitchell. 
• An Adam Budorick single drove home Christian McElroy and Andrew Gryniewicz to tie things up in the fifth with a score of 2-2. 
• The next few innings would see the score holding there, as a solid start by left hander Roy Lenhard and relief work by Logan Watts held the score at 2-2 until the ninth. 
• A ninth inning home run would be the final blow, as the Mariners walked off by a final of 3-2. 

Lynx Highlights:

• Adam Budorick went 2-4 on the day, driving in both runs for the Lynx. 
• Andrew Gryniewicz and Christian McElroy went 2-4 on the day, both scoring a run. 
• Starter Roy Lenhard turned in his best start of the year, going 5 innings and only allowing 2 runs while striking out 3. 

Up Next:

The Lynx (13-25, 2-11) will now look to stave off elimaination as they will play ENC in a win-or-go-home game Saturday, May 6th. First pitch is set for 9am at Mitchell College. Should they win, they will turn back around later that evening to play the loser of Mitchell v NEC.
