INSIDE SCOOP:

When asked about the victory, head coach Billy Cather commented; "the guys did a great job showing up today ready to play a tough midweek opponent. We were very pleased with the way our pitchers were able to pound the strike zone and have clean innings. There were a number of first year guys that were able to make some adjustments in practice and execute on the mound today. We continue to play championship level defense and again we were able to get a clutch hit offensively when we needed it. We will need the same level of focus on Thursday against a very tough Elms squad."

UP NEXT:

The Lynx look to continue their winning streak on the road Thursday March 29th in a conference match versus Elms College at 7:00pm.
