MEET OVERVIEW:
LINCOLN, RI. - The Lesley Men and Women's Cross Country teams ran in CCRI's Tri-State Invitational on Saturday morning.
INSIDE THE MEET:
- Eastern Connecticut State took the top spot on the men's 8K side, finishing with five of the top ten runners. Worcester State slotted in second with three top ten finishes.
- Zachary Spatz finished the the 8K in 38th place, with a time of 36:28.4.
- For the women, Salve Regina barely beat out Eastern Connecticut by eight points. Both teams finished with four runners in the top ten.
- Freshman Olivia Binette led the Lynx, finishing seventeenth overall to continue her strong season. Binette finished the 5K in 23:05.
- Hannah Nangle came in next at 23:32 at 21st overall, while Paulina Sandoval-Alvarez finished in 26th at 24:20. Katherine Graham finished at 28:35.8 and Michelle Hutter came in at 30:30.
