Lynx Fall to Regis in Three Sets

GAME OVERVIEW:

WESTON, MA. – The Lesley Women's volleyball team dropped a match in three sets to Regis College on Tuesday night. The Lynx fall to 0-7 overall, while the Pride advance to 5-3.

INSIDE THE BOXSCORE:

  • The Pride got out to a quick start in the first set, with Kamdyn Tenorio leading a 5-0 run to open and Rita Dow following it up with a run to extend the lead to 12-1. Regis never looked back and took the first set 25-5.
  • Toni Ondris led the way for the Pride in the second set, serving an eleven point run early. Olivia Pacheco picked up three straight aces in a closing run to finish the set 25-7.
  • Lesley put up their best performance of the night in the third set, picking up eleven points. It was not enough for the win as Pacheco and Mica van der Meulen put together runs to finish the set up.
  • Megan Lorenze led the Lynx with three kills, while Sydney Hart picked up two. Ahnasia McKinney had seven kills for Regis, with Emily Fagundo leading in assists with 14 and Aryam Serrano-Monserrate led with five aces.

The Lynx return home to take on Anna Maria College on Wednesday September 22nd at 8 PM.
