CAMBRIDGE, MA. - The Lesley Lynx Women's tennis team will play host to this year's North Atlantic Conference (NAC) East Division Women's Tennis Championship. The matches will be held on Sunday October 6th at the Woburn Racquet Club in Woburn, Massachusetts.

The Lynx have earned the number two seed in the tournament after achieving a 5-1 conference record and 6-5 overall. The Lynx will face off against the #3 MCLA Trailblazers, who finished 4-2 in the conference and 5-4 overall, in a semifinal match. The Husson Eagles will take the top seed in the tournament, taking on #4 Northern Vermont-Lyndon, who finished 2-4 in the conference and 3-8 overall, in the other semifinal. The Eagles were a perfect 6-0 in NAC matches and finished their season 8-1 overall.

The first semifinal between #2 Lesley and #3 MCLA will begin at 9 AM, with #1 Husson and #4 Northern Vermont-Lyndon beginning at 12 PM, though it could be earlier if the first match concludes early. The winners of each semifinal will meet in the final round either at 3:30 PM or an hour after the opening matches are completed.

The NAC has partnered with the North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) in the sport of women's tennis several times since 2010. This season, NEAC institutions are competing as associate members of the NAC, with the conferences divided into East (NAC) and West (NEAC) Divisions. Each division holds a fall championship, and the two divisional champs will compete this spring to determine the NAC Conference Champion and a berth to the 2020 NCAA Women's Tennis Championship in May.
