ENFIELD, CT -- Lesley Univeristy sophomore Brenna Donovan captured the New England Collegiate Conference women's tennis Flight Five crown Sunday at the league tournament.

The sophomore outlasted Bay Path College's Lianna Loveitt 3-6, 7-6 (7-4), 6-3 to win the flight.

On Saturday, Donovan, who entered 4-0 in the regular season, bested Newbury College's Jessica Burdick 7-6 (7-4), 6-1 in advancing to Sunday's finals. 

As a team, Lesley went 5-5 on the season and 4-4 in New England Collegiate Conference play. Marty Morrissey's Lynx will return all eight players for next year's team.
