CAMBRIDGE, MA -- Lesley got back above .500 with an 8-1 win over Mitchell College in New England Collegiate Conference women's tennis action.
First singles star Courtney Mullen won, 6-4, 6-1, over Mackenzie Flanagan, then teamed with red-hot Hagar Memlies to upend Flanagan and Kelly Walsh in first doubles, 8-3. Memlies, meanwhile, bested Lauren Rowley in fifth singles, 6-0, 6-2.
In second doubles play, Lesley's Nicole Smith and Brenna Donovan topped Ashley Boutin 8-1. Christina Constantine, meanwhile, worked with Michelle Side in earning her first victory of the season in an 8-0 third singles victory.
Side, Smith and Donovan also earned singles victories for the Lynx, which improve to 5-4 overall and 4-4 in NECC play.
Marty Morrissey's team concludes its regular season in non-conference action on Wednesday against Emmanuel at Nicholas Athletic Complex at 6:00 p.m.
