Lynx Drop Second Match in a Row to Suffolk

GAME OVERVIEW:

EAST BOSTON, MA. -- The Lesley Women's soccer team dropped their second game in a row, falling this time to the Suffolk Rams 2-0. The Lynx now sit at 4-2-1 this season, while the Rams advance to 3-1.

INSIDE THE BOXSCORE:

  • The Rams were aggressive out of the gate, taking four shots in the first ten minutes. Despite besting them in shots taken in the first half, the Lynx allowed the Rams to score their first goal in the 35th minute. Haley Long was able to put in the net off of an assist by Kiara Wilson.
  • Lily Christian doubled the Rams' lead in the 61st minute, assisted by Kylie Flynn. The Lynx outshot the Rams 9-7 in both halves, but Suffolk was the only team able to make it count.
  • Sacha Porter led the Lynx with five shots, three on goal. Both Suffolk goalscorers, Long and Christian, led their team with two shots.
  • Freshman Lauren Lacy took her first loss of the season, saving five of seven shots. Allison Rodrigues earned the win with a clean sheet to move her record to 3-1.
