Lynx Can't Stop Gulls in 3-0 Sweep

GAME OVERVIEW:

MEDFORD, MA. – The Lesley men's volleyball team had difficulty with the Endicott Gulls, losing Saturday afternoon's match 3 sets to none. The loss puts the Lynx at 0-4 overall on the season and 0-1 in the NECC, while the Gulls move to 10-2 overall and 2-0 in the conference.

INSIDE THE BOXSCORE:

  • The Lynx could not keep up with the nationally ranked Gulls. Endicott is currently ranked 14th in the nation and fourth in the region.
  • Endicott took the first two sets by 25-12 scores and the final set 25-6. Thirteen different player registered a kill for the Gulls, with Matt Cruz and Finn McCaffrey leading with seven and five, respectively.
  • Gabe DiBenedetto and Chad Riorden were the assist leaders for the Lynx. DiBenedetto had 21 and Riorden had 15.
  • AJ Genova led the Lynx in kills with 8. Jake den Bleyker and Daniel Monteserin each had two kills apiece and Armando Bahena led in assists with nine.

The Lynx travel to Colby-Sawyer for a doubleheader on Friday February 28th. The matches will take place at 6 & 8 PM.
