Gulls soar on senior night, 3-0 over Lynx

BEVERLY, MA -- Lesley dropped a 3-0 decision (25-8, 25-12, 25-16) at Endicott Tuesday on the Gulls senior night in New England Collegiate Conference men's volleyball play at MacDonald Gymnasium.

Lynx setter Melvin Morales led the team with eight assists and six digs. Middle hitter Max Hoevenaar added a team-best seven kills and led all players with three total blocks, one solo and two assisted.

Endicott's Jeremy Siden posted a match-high eight kills with no errors on 13 attempts for a .615 hitting percentage, and Jeremy Scholsser totaled six kills with one error in eight attempts, leading all players with a scorching .625 average and 22 set assists.

As a team, Endicott hit .378, holding the Lynx to a -.096 percentage for the night and forcing 20 attack errors to only 12 for the Gulls in the home team's senior night victory.

Lesley celebrates its own senior day when next in action, honoring three-year letterwinner Christian Domingo prior to Saturday's 2:00 p.m. match against Southern Vermont at BB&N's Nicholas Athletics Center.
