WSETON, MA -- Lesley wrapped up its season on a positive note with a second straight win, again beating Regis College convincingly, 3-0 (25-13, 25-9, 25-10), Thursday night.

Tyler Reeves led all players with 23 digs, and fellow senior Stephen Siragusa tossed a match-high 26 set assists. Freshman William Lau led the Lynx attack, besting all players with 12 kills and five errors in 27 attempts, earning a .259 hitting percentage. Max Hoevenaar recorded a .286 hitting percentage, with seven kills and two errors over 14 attempts.

After becoming the Lynx all-time leader with 16 digs on Tuesday, Reeves' 26 tonight earned him Lesley's single-season mark with 222, breaking the mark Lau set nine days ago.

Also playing in his final collge match, Siragusa's 26 assists gave him 404 for the season, 1,000 over the last two years, and a Lesley all-time high 1,335 for his career.

A Lau error gave the Pride a 5-4 lead to open the night, but the Lynx outside hitter redeemed himself with two kills in the next four points to give the Lynx a 7-6 lead. With Lau now serving, six straight Lynx points put the visitors ahead 13-6 in Lesley's 25-13 Game 1 win.

Regis was its own worst enemy in the middle set, as six straight Pride errors handed the Lynx an 11-2 lead. Consecutive kills from Hoevenaar put Lesley back up by nine, at 15-6, and the Lynx cruised to a 25-9 win.

A Beau Morimando kill followed by a Morimando ace put Lesley ahead 5-1 to start the final set. Leading 18-10, a Pride error preceded six straight points on Christian Domingo serves, and with that Lesley wrapped up 2011 with a 25-10 Game 3 victory.

Overtaken tonight by Reeves for the Lesley single-season record, Lau wraps up a stellar freshman campaign with 215 digs, good for second place in any Lynx season.

After allowing 33 points to the Pride in taking three straight sets Tuesday in Cambridge, the Lynx did one better tonight, limiting Regis to 32 points on the night in the team's 3-0 triumph.
