NEWTON, MA -- After dropping the opening set 21-25, Lesley battled back to capture Game 2 by the same score, but Mount Ida won the final two sets, 23-25 and 20-25, in its 3-1 victory.

A Domingo kill put Lesley ahead 11-7 in the opener, but the Mustangs answered with a 7-0 run to take Game 1, 21-25. Lesley came back to control the second set from start to finish. The Lynx jumped out to their largest lead of the game at 12-4 and never trailed in the team's 25-21 win.

Game 3 looked as if it would be the pivotal point of the match in the Lynx favor, as another Domingo kill put the visitors on top 13-10. Mount Ida's Shane Wilson tied the set with a service ace to make it 22-22, and after Lesley re-tied the set at 23-23, the Mustangs captured the final two point to take the game.

Mount Ida carried its momentum into Game 4, opening up an 8-5 lead. The Mustangs went ahead 10-6 before a pair of errors allowed the Lynx to get within two. Leading 20-17, Mount Ida scored five of the final seven points to take the match.
