BROOKLINE, MA -- Despite showing improvement in all three sets, Lesley fell 3-0 at Newbury Thursday night, 25-9, 25-12, 25-19.

Tyler Reeves tied for match-high honors with seven digs and Stephen Siragusa led the Lynx with seven set assists. Christian Domingo threw in a team-high three kills, adding four digs and a block assist as Lesley fell to 0-9 and 0-3 in New England Collegiate Conference play.

For Newbury, now 5-5 overall and 1-1 in the NECC, Chris Espinola threw down a match-high six kills to go with a solo block, and Matt Talamantes led all players with 14 set assists and three solo blocks, adding three kills and three digs.

Lesley looks for its first NECC win on Saturday at the Daniel Webster tri-match, facing the Eagles at 10:00 a.m. and Southern Vermont at 2:00 p.m.
