NEWTON, MA -- Tyler Reeves led the Lynx with seven digs and Stephen Siragusa added seven assists as Lesley fell in three sets at Lasell Tuesday night in NECVA play.
A Reeves kill and a pair of Lasers errors put the Lynx out in front 3-1 to start the opening set, but Lasell's ensuing 12-1 run distanced the Lasers in their 25-13 Game 1 win. In the second set, Lasell scored the first six points on Andrew Glenn serves, scoring 13 of the first 14 points overall to beat the Lynx 25-8.
Lesley hung tough in the early going of Game 3, using a 4-1 run to pull within 10-7. A 10-2 run from that point on featuring a consecutive service aces from Max Vaughan all but distanced Lasell, which improved to 5-3 with the 3-0 win.
For Lasell, Harry Strobel totaled eight of the team's 20 service aces. Mike Harrington led all players with nine kills, while Glenn set up a match-best 20 assists.
Lesley's Christian Domingo posted a pair of kills on seven attempts for a team-best .286 hitting percentage.
With the loss, Lesley falls to 0-4 and 0-4 in NECVA play. The Lynx travel to WIT on Thursday at 7:00 p.m.
