Wentworth 3, Lesley 0

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. - The Lesley University men's volleyball team was defeated by Wentworth Institute of Technology 3-0 (30-16, 30-10, 30-12) on Tuesday evening and saw their 2009 record fall to 2-15 (1-4 NECC, 1-10 NECVA).  Wentworth improved to 9-8 (6-6 NECVA) with the straight set victory. 

Wentworth's Javier Feliciano (San Juan, Puerto Rico) amassed 23 kills with just two errors in the triumph over the Lynx.  The sophomore outside hitter also recorded eight service aces.  Dishing out the assists for the Leopards was junior setter George Yau (Brockton, Mass.) who tallied 26 set assists. 

The Leopards, who never trailed in any of the three sets, were extremely efficient as a team.  Wentworth finished the match with a 0.406 hit percentage.

For the Lynx, Mike Jack (Buenos Aires, Argentina) finished with a team-high five kills.  Nick Assad (Andover, Mass.) tallied four kills while Steven Siragusa (Valley Stream, N.Y.) dished out 11 set assists. 

Lesley is back in action after spring break for a March 18 match at Emerson College at 7:00 pm.  Wentworth travels to Rivier College on March 21 for a 1:00 pm match.
