CHICOPEE, Mass. - In their final game of the 2008 season, the Lesley University men's volleyball got swept by Elms College 3-0 (30-18, 30-22, 30-12) to finish the season with a record of 2-17 (1-10 North East Collegiate Volleyball Association). 

Freshman middle hitter Mike Labagh (Elizabethtown, Pa.) led the Lynx with nine kills on 29 total attacks.  Labagh also finished the game with three solo blocks. 

Scott Wheeler gave a solid effort as he tallied four kills and six digs in the losing effort.

With the victory, the Blazers clinched their first-ever NECVA playoff berth.  It was the team's sixth straight match won by Elms.
