Lesley dominates SVC to win second of the season

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. - The Lesley University men's volleyball recorded their second win of the season and their first in North East Collegiate Volleyball Association play with a victory over Southern Vermont College, 3-0 (30-16, 30-22, 30-22).

Sophomore Nick Assad (Andover, Mass.) had his best game of the season as he was one of three Lynx players to finished with double-digit kills.  Assad had 14 kills on 25 total attacks and also tallied seven digs. 

Teammates Mike Labagh (Elizabethtown, Pa.) and Scott Wheeler (East Hampton, Conn.) had 12 and 10 kills respectively.  Labagh also finished with a team-high 12 digs.  Both players also served three aces each in the win.

Setters Clayton Janer (Guilford, Conn.) and Stephen Siragusa (Valley Stream, N.Y.) had 11 and 10 assists, a piece.  Freshman Tyler Reeves (Coventry, Conn.) had a solid effort finishing with three kills, six service aces, and 10 digs.

The Lynx will next face the Elms College Blazers on Tuesday March 25 at 7 p.m. to cap off the 2008 season.
