Endicott 3, Lesley 0

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. - Endicott College defeated Lesley University 3-0 on Friday night by the score of 30-10, 30-12, and 30-12.  With the victory, Endicott improved their record to 3-3 (1-0 North East Collegiate Volleyball Association) and Lesley dropped to 0-8 (0-7 NECVA).

The Gulls showed great teamwork and aggressiveness as they never allowed the Lynx to gain any momentum in the match.  Endicott was able to counter any offensive attack Lesley had to offer and cruised to victory.

The Lynx were led by sophomore Scott Wheeler (East Hampton, Conn.) who finished with three kills on eight total attacks and only one error.  His main contribution, however, was defensively as he had 10 digs to held give Lesley offensive opportunity.  Mike Labagh (Elizabethtown, Pa.) finished with three kills as well in the losing effort.

The Lynx will host NECVA opponent Elms College on Thursday February 7 at 8:00 p.m. while Endicott will host Hunter College on Sunday February 3 at noon.
