Cambridge, MA- Coach Jermaine Collier Jr. was hired in 2023 as Head Coach of Lesley University XC/Track & Field.

Coach Collier earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology from the University of South Carolina where we was a member of the USC Men's Track and Field team. Within the program, he represented the team as a captain for two years and was named a NCAA Division I All-American three times, team most valuable player and received the USC Track & Field Sportsmanship Award in 2016.

Coach Collier began coaching in 2014 as a volunteer for Trenton Track Club in the state of New Jersey. Since then he coached at Emmanuel College, Cambridge Rindge & Latin, and coaches for JMC track club. Coach Collier’s philosophy is “You win or you learn” which means all experiences are great. What really matters is enjoying the journey and the growth that comes with it.
