THE LEAD – The Lynx hosted UMPI for a conference doubleheader alongside the women's teams for their last match of the season.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Owls were the first to strike and put a goal on the board in the 19th minute of the match with a solo goal from Nyden Reed.
- Lesley battled back and Marc Kenny Derac scored ten minutes later off a cross pass from Osmyn Atwood.
- The next 30 minutes of the match remained scoreless, until Remar Shirley sent one in assisted by Isaac Doore to give the Owls a one goal lead.
- Lesley battled back putting four shots on net, all of which were saved by the owls keeper Xavier McAtee.
WINNING PERFORMANCES
- McAtee made 10 saves in the net for the Owls.
- Lesley led the match in shots, 21-6.
- Lesley led the match 4-2 in corner kicks.
