Husson Pours Seven Goals on Lynx

GAME OVERVIEW:

BANGOR, ME. -- The Lesley Men's Soccer team struggled to keep up with the Husson University Eagles on Saturday afternoon, losing 7-0. The Lynx fall to 0-10, while the Eagles continue a great season at 7-2-2.

INSIDE THE BOXSCORE:

  • The Eagles got out of the gates quickly, scoring two goals in the first five minutes of the match. Jordi Cabau Limens scored both, with the first coming in the second minute off a Fred Longo assist and the second coming in the fourth minute. Cabau Limens completed a quick hat trick in the 35th minute, this time with an assist by Arni Hreirdarsson.
  • After the hat trick in the first half, the Eagles kept the scores coming. Mario Alvarez Salgad picked up the fourth Husson goal in the 55th minute, while Hreirdarsson completed a solid day with two goals of his own. The first came in 64th minute off an assist from Marcos Chanlatte and the second in the 81st minute with an assist by Gavon Fox.
  • The final Eagles goal came in the 83rd minute, with Alejandro Mora Abad assisting on a Jarod Bolton score. The Eagles finished the match with seven goals total by four different player.
  • The shot totals were the same in each half for both teams, with Husson earning 14-2 advantages both times to outshoot Lesley 28 to 4 overall.
