Wentworth Shuts Out Lynx

GAME OVERVIEW:

BOSTON, MA. -- The Lesley Men's soccer team struggled against Wentworth Institute of Technology on Tuesday night, losing 7-0. The Lynx fall to 0-5 on the season, while the Leopards advance to 4-2.

INSIDE THE BOXSCORE:

  • The Lynx kept the Leopards off the board early, but when Wentworth scored their first goals, the floodgates opened. They scored four goals within a five minute span near the end of the first half. TJ Prouty picked up the first goal in the 36th minute, assisted by John Dauphin.
  • Dauphin grabbed a second assist a minute and forty-five second later, along with Juan Cedeno, as Nathan Gosselin scored his first of four goals. Cedeno and Gosselin hooked up again for Gosselin's second goal less than a minute later in the 39th minute. Thirty seconds after the second, Gosselin scored his third goal. The fourth came in the 60th minute to put the Leopards on top 5-0.
  • Andrea Colmenares scored for Wentworth in the 70th minute, then grabbed an assist on the final goal of the night, scored by Jomar Martins.
