THE LEAD – The Lynx headed to Rivier this Tuesday, dropping to the Raiders for the second time this season.
HOW IT HAPPENED – GAME 1
- Christian Castro was on fire for the Lynx, scoring seven points right out of the gate.
- The rest of Lesley's offense turned up the heat, with points coming from every player on the court.
- Two back-to-back three-pointers from Robenson Baguidy followed by a layup from Devin Owens gave the Raiders their first lead of the night.
- Lesley quickly evened the score out, courtesy of Castro. The two teams broke for halftime with Lesley in the lead, 38-37.
- Starting the second Lesley's Malachi Howard immediately fired off a three-pointer, with the Raiders close on his heels.
- The lead changed three times in the first ten minutes of the half, before settling in with the Raiders.
- The Lynx kept close, but couldn't break into Rivier's lead, losing with a final score of 79-72.
INSIDE THE NUMERS
- Howard led the Lynx with 17 points and seven rebounds in the loss.
- Lesley outrebounded Rivier, 29-25.
