HOW IT HAPPENED – GAME 1

  • Five minutes into the first, the Terriers lead 11-9 with the Lynx trailing at their heels. A layup from Malachi Howard evened things out, and sparked the Lesley offense.
  • Two back to back three-pointers gave the Lynx a four point lead but they weren't done there.
  • Seven three-pointers for the Lynx gave them a 40-25-point lead heading into halftime.
  • The Lynx struck first when the teams returned to the court, with Thomas right on their tails.
  • Both teams continued to fire off shots, but the Terriers were unable to break into Lesley's lead, falling to the Lynx 86-68.

  • Austin Hamilton followed with 13 points in Lesley's win.

HOW IT HAPPENED – GAME 2

  • The two teams remained neck and neck for the first ten minutes, Thomas eventually pulling ahead 21-14 with ten minutes to go until the break.
  • A nine-point run for the Terriers gave them a 37-19 lead forcing Lesley into a deeper deficit.
  • The teams broke for halftime with Lesley trailing 47-28.
  • Thomas opened the second half with seven unanswered points, forcing Lesley to call a timeout just four minutes in.
  • The Lynx continued to battle but couldn't break into the hefty lead that Thomas had accrued, ultimately falling to the Terriers 101-67.
