Lesley offensive effecive from the floor in triumph over Becker

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. - The Lynx shot over 53% from the floor and 46% from three-point land as they breezed by Becker College 92-65.

Sam Mead (Worthing, ENGLAND) and Anthony Drayton (Roxbury, Mass.) led Lesley with 14 points each.  Stanley Chamblain (Everett, MA) went for 12 points, and Joe Chatman (Boston, MA) chipped in with 10 points and a game high 8 assists.

Becker was led by the duo of Shawn Fuller (New Haven, CT) who had 19 points and Emmanuel Masumbuko (Burlington, VT) who had 18 points.  Masumbuko also added a game-high 9 rebounds.

The Lynx jumped out to an early lead and lead by 14, 45-31 at half time.  In the second half they did not slow down and cruised to the 27 point victory.

Lesley forced 31 Becker turnovers, 16 of them steals.  Malcolm Andrews (Medford, MA) led the team with 4 steals.

With the win the Lynx improve to 7-8 overall and 4-4 in the NAC.  The Lynx are off until Tuesday, January 23rd when they travel to Newton, MA to face Lasell College.  For more information on the Lesley men's basketball team please go to their website.
