CAMBRIDGE, MA -- Sophomore Evan Reseska was named New England Collegiate Conference Runner of the Week, and freshman Nick Green earned NECC Rookie of the Week accolades, the league announced on Tuesday.

Making his college debut, Green placed fourth out of 50 runners with a time of 16:54 on the 5,000-meter courth, good for a pace of a five-minute, 57-second mile, at The Fens Invitational hosted by Emmanuel College Saturday morning in Boston. Reseska, meanwhile, came in 14th with a time of 17:27, earning his first ever Runner of the Week accolade.

Green, Reseska and the Lynx run again on Saturday, September 8 at the Trinity Invitational in Manchester, CT.
