CAMBRIDGE, MA --  Lesley sophomore cross country runners Kyle Casiglio and Leah Miller have been named New England Collegiate Conference Men's and Women's Runners of the Week, the league announced this afternoon.

Miller's (Thomaston, CT/Thomaston) time of 19:24.95 set a new Lynx 5k record, leading her team to its best-ever finish at UMass-Dartmouth.

Casiglio (Shelton, CT/Shelton), the 2010 NECC Runner of the Year, finished 66th out of 255 runners at the UMass-Dartmouth Shriners Invitational with a time of 26:41. His Lynx men's team took 12th out of 19 teams at UMass-Dartmouth.

Miller finished 29th out of 258 participants at the UMass-Dartmouth Shriners Invitational at 19:24.  As a team, Lesley placed 12th out of 37 teams, its best team finish in the Shriners Invitational.

Dan Flynn's team is in action again on October 1 at the Gordon College Pop Crowell Invitational.
