Lynx run in NCAA Regionals

WILLIAMSTOWN, MA -- Lesley University's men's and women's cross country teams participated in Saturday's NCAA New England Regional meet on the campus of Williams College.

Head coach Dan Flynn's Lynx captured 25th place out of 51 teams on the women's side, while the men's team took 38th out of 48 teams. Middlebury won the women's event and MIT took the men's portion, with host Williams finishing second on both.

New England Collegiate Conference Runner of the Year Noa Kupfer led Lesley at 103rd out of 336 women runners with a time of 25:12, with Leah Miller coming in 112th at 25:20.

For the men, NECC Runner of the Year and Rookie of the Year Kyle Casiglio paced the Lynx, finishing 111th with a time of 28:09. Also on the 8k course, Chris Conforti finished in 186th out of 333 runners at 29:32.

This concludes what has been a storybook season for the Lynx, with Flynn winning NECC Coach of the Year awards on the men's and women's side, as he guided both teams to league championships.
