CAMBRIDGE, MA -- Following standout performances in the Codfish Bowl in Boston's Franklin Park, Lesley University cross country runners Ana Lutkevich and Kyle Casiglio have been named New England Collegiate Conference Rookie of the Week, the league announced Monday afternoon. For both, this is a second straight award.

A week after setting a program record for best finish on a 5k course at UMass-Dartmouth, Lutkevich finished at 20:50, good for 30th place out of 243 runners.

Casiglio finished at 27:57 on the 8k track at Franklin Park. He placed 55th out of 287 runners, leading Lesley to 19th place out of 25 teams.

Dan Flynn's Lynx are in action again this Saturday at 10 a.m. in Wenham, MA at the Pop Crowell Invitational hosted by Gordan College.
