CAMBRIDGE, MA -- Lesley University cross country runners Kyle Casiglio, Noa Kupfer and Ana Lutkevich were honored by the New England Collegiate Conference, winning three weekly league awards after their performances at the Pop Crowell Invitational hosted by Gordon College.

Casiglio was named NECC Rookie of the Week for the third straight week after breaking  Lesley's course record with a time of 27:04 on the 8k course, leading all NECC men on Saturday. The freshman led the Lynx to a 14th place finish out of 23 teams.

On the women's side, Kupfer was named NECC Runner of the Week.  The sophomore finished in 15th place at the Pop Crowell, completing the 5k course in 19:55. With a time over two minutes better than the next non-Lesley finisher, Kupfer led Lesley to an eighth-place finish out of 26 teams.

Lesley made it a sweep of the women's cross country awards with Lutkevich again being named NECC Rookie of the Week. It is a third consecutive Rookie of the Week award for the freshman, who helped Lesley to its best team finish ever at the Pop Crowell.
