ATTLEBORO, Mass. - Charlotte Goff (Osterville, Mass.) has established herself as the top runner in the New England Collegiate Conference after another gutsy performance this past weekend at the Blazer Invitational.  For her efforts, the NECC honored Goff as Runner of the Week for the third time this season.

Goff raced to a second overall finish at the Blazer Invitational, held at Chicopee Memorial State Park, with a time of 19:59.8.  Almost a full minute passed before another NECC runner crossed the finish line which shows just how dominant Goff was in this race.

The only runner that finished ahead of Goff was a member of the University of New England squad.  UNE (34) was able to edge Lesley (36) in team scoring to win the Blazer Invitational.

Goff and the rest of the Lynx women's cross country team will be back in action this Saturday October 4 at the Pop Crowell Invitational held at Gordon College.
