THE LEAD –  The Lynx travelled to Fisher College in Brookline, MA. for a non-conference matchup.  

HOW IT HAPPENED

• The first set had the Lynx and Falcons battling back and forth, staying within 5 points of each other. Fisher went on to put up 11 unanswered points on the Lynx, giving them the lead to take the first set.
• Set two started similarly, the Lynx battling for points and keeping within reach of a lead. At the 7-17 mark, Fisher took off and snagged the last eight points needed to take the win.
• Fisher took an early 6 point lead to start the third set, Lesley came back and put five points on the board, trailing 16-5. Fisher took the last set 25-12, Lesley's highest number of points on the day.  

INSIDE THE NUMBERS

• Freshman Leah St. John lead the Lynx with six digs on the match.
• Emma Welch and Estephany Morales contributed another five digs a piece.
• Fishers Paola Velazquez and Natalia Sanchez lead the Falcons with four kills each.

• The Lynx are back on the court Saturday, October 7^th, as they host a tri-match competing with Husson and UNE.
