THE LEAD – The Lynx fought and fell to the Falcons in their non-conference matchup, 3-0. 

HOW IT HAPPENED

• The Lynx and Falcons scores stayed close for most of the first set, until the Falcons pulled ahead after a series of errors and serving aces. 
• Lesley kept the Falcons to a 10 point difference until Fitchburg went on an eight point run to snag the win. 
• The Lynx pulled an early lead in the second set, however the Lynx struggled and gave Fitchburg yet another lead, and eventually the win. 
• To start the third set Fitchburg took the first five points right out of the gate, Lesley battled back and put 2 points on the board. The Lynx were within 6 points on the set but  Fitchburg pulled ahead again and took the win. 

INSIDE THE NUMBERS

• Emma Welch led the Lynx with one kill, one assist, two serving aces, and three digs. 
• Rookie Rayann Fatahi also contributed a kill, and two digs on the match. 
• Abigail DeAngelis lead the Falcons with a team high four kills and four aces.

The Lynx are back on the court this Saturday with a matchup against Salem State.
