GAME OVERVIEW:
Cambridge, Mass.-- The Lesley University Women's Volleyball team fell to Becker College 3-1, Monday evening. After claiming the first set 27-25, the Lynx dropped the next three sets to give the Hawks their third conference win on the season. With the loss, Lesley slips to 4-14 overall and 1-4 in the NECC.
INSIDE THE BOXSCORE:
- Maile Counts paced the Lynx with a match high 21 kills on the night, while Cassidy Wygonik added 14 of her own. Wygonik and Teresa Imbsweiler led the defensive surge with 19 digs a piece, while Tallin Goldberg chipped in 15. Goldberg guided the Lynx attack with a match high 33 assists.
- Kayla Dupree led the Hawks with 12 kills, and Morgan Gould added 8. Veronica Patella-Quinones and Joanna Bampi each had 23 digs to keep the Lynx from scoring. Gould also added 6 service aces on the night.
- The Hawks proved their strength over the Lynx with only committing 19 attack errors to Lesley's 32.
- Becker College also mustered 17 points off service aces, to Lesley's 3 service aces.
