Marden Earns Second NECC Player of the Week Honor

ATTLEBORO, Mass. –Lesley University senior Emily Marden (Fremont, Calif.) has been named New England Collegiate Conference Women's Volleyball Player of the Week. NECC Assistant Commissioner for Media Relations Rebecca Mullen made the announcement today in the conference Weekly Report.

This is the second time this season that Marden has been honored by the conference as the Player of the Week, previously receiving the honor on September 28th. Marden and the Lynx did not drop a set in a perfect 3-0 record this past week.

Emily Marden, Lesley (Sr., Fremont, Calif.) - Marden propelled the Lynx to a perfect 3-0 week, including a 3-0 win over Becker in NECC play. The senior setter averaged 8.56 assists/set and 3.44 digs/set in the three matches and posted two double-doubles on the week, highlighted by a 29 assist, ten dig performance against the Hawks
