Deluga Named NECC Player of the Week

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – For the first time in her Lynx career, women's volleyball sophomore Kaylee Deluga (Dennis, Mass.) has been named the New England Collegiate Conference Player of the Week for the week ending Sunday, September 13. NECC Assistant Commissioner for Media Relations, Rebecca Mullin, made the announcement today the in conference Weekly Report.

Deluga helped Lesley to a 2-2 record last week. After playing all four matches on the road, the Lynx will return home to Cambridge on Wednesday night when they host Gordon College at 8:00p.

NECC Women's Volleyball Player of the Week

Kaylee Deluga, Lesley (Sophomore - Dennis, Mass.) - Deluga helped carry the Lesley offense in a 2-2 week for the Lynx. The sophomore knocked down double-digit kills in three of the four matches, including finishing with 13 on a superb .647 hitting percentage in a 3-0 win over Eastern Nazarene on Tuesday. For the week, the sophomore averaged 2.63 kills/set with a combined .364 hitting percentage.
