
CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – After one of the most successful regular seasons in program history, the Lesley University women's volleyball team has earned the No. 2 seed in the New England Collegiate Conference Championship. The Lynx finished the year at 16-4 overall and a 7-1 mark in the NECC and have received a bye in the First Round.
Regis College earned the top seed in the six team, single elimination tournament as the Pride finished the year with a 22-8 overall record and a perfect 8-0 mark in NECC action. The Pride will host both the Semifinal Round and Championship Round on Friday and Saturday, respectively.
Sixth seed Southern Vermont College (7-14, 3-5 NECC) will travel to third seeded Newbury College (15-10, 5-3 NECC), and number four seed Daniel Webster College (6-15, 4-4 NECC) will host fifth seed Becker College (7-21, 3-5 NECC). All First Round games will be played Tuesday, November 4.
Semifinal match-ups on Friday, November 7, will feature Regis, the host school, playing the winner of Daniel Webster and Becker. The Southern Vermont-Newbury winner will play Lesley. The Championship match will be Saturday afternoon.
