CAMBRIDGE, MA -- After finishing the 2011 regular season by winning five of its last six matches, women's volleyball looks to keep the momentum going into 2012 with its season schedule released today.

The Lynx open 2012 with a tri-match at Eastern Nazarene, taking on the Lions at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 1 with a match against Anna Maria to follow. Road matches at Emerson and WPI come on September 5 and 6, respectively, wrapping up a four-match season-opening road swing.

Lesley makes its home debut on Thursday, September 13 against Salem State and plays host to Pine Manor on Saturday, September 15. A tri-match at Salve Regina in which the Lynx also take on Wheaton highlights a string of five of six matches away from Cambridge to close out September, but the team opens October with six of its first seven matches at home.

The Lynx take on Mitchell in the team's New England Collegiate Conference home opener October 6 and remain at home in league play against Regis October 10. After a trip to Bay Path three days later, Daniel Webster kicks off a four-match homestand before two NECC matches on the road to close out the regular season.

Lesley returns five starters from last season's team, including seniors and former all-league honorable mention recipients Kaitlyn Miller and Megan Ortwein. All home matches will feature live stats, with free live streaming video available for select home matches.
