INDIANAPOLIS - The NCAA has revealed its 2010 Women's Volleyball Tournament bracket, and Lesley will take on Amherst College on Friday, November 12 at 5:30 p.m. in the Lynx first-ever tourney match-up (Free video).
The 2010 New England Collegaite Conference Champion Lynx (19-9) will travel to host site Springfield College to take on Amherst (24-3), the No. 1 team in the NCAA Division III New England Region and No. 30 team nationally in last week's Bison/AVCA Division III Coaches Poll.
Lesley, featuring NECC Player of the Year and three-time NECC Player of the Week Amanda McCracken and last week's Player of the Week Kaitlyn Miller, enters its first NCAA Tournament on the heels of Saturday's 3-2 NECC Championship victory over Daniel Webster. Winners of five in a row, TJ Hajjar's could face either Tufts (22-10) or the host Pride (29-4) should the team advance.
