Lynx earn trip to NECC Championship, 3-0 over SVC

NASHUA, NH - A second straight 3-0 win over Southern Vermont has landed the Lynx in the New England Collegiate Conference Championship, as Lesley bested the Mountaineers on neutral turf Friday night at Daniel Webster.

Amanda McCracken led all players with 20 kills Friday night on her way to a sizzling .532 hitting percentage. Reigning NECC Player of the Week Kate Miller tossed up a game-high 33 assists, as the Lynx improved to 18-9.

Fellow sophomore Megan Ortwein led the Lynx defense with a team-high 15 digs, while senior Meaghan Chadwick followed with 14. Freshman Victoria Ashley came off TJ Hajjar's bench to lead all players with a new career high of four total blocks.

Lesley will now play with a trip to the NCAA Tournament on the line, taking on the host and No. 1 seed Daniel Webster Eagles on Saturday at 2 p.m.
