NEWTON, MA - In Lesley's second match against non-conference opponent Lasell, the results replicated the first, as the Lynx dropped a 3-1 decision in non-conference women's volleyball action Monday night, 23-25, 25-21, 21-25, 17-25.
Caitlyn Vandenburgh led all players with 25 digs, while Megan Ortwein posted a season-high 22 in the loss. Sophomore Kate Miller tossed a match-best 43 assists.
Lesley's 28 kill errors were ultimately the team's undoing, as Lesley posted a .150 hitting percentage compared to a .224 clip for the Lasers.
Amanda McCracken led the Lynx offense with 18 kills, tying Lasell's Danielle Drapeau for match-high honors. Senior Meaghan Chadwick followed with 11 kills, and Kaitlyn Wechsler rounded out three Lynx in double-figures with 10.
At 14-9, TJ Hajjar's club returns to its out-of-conference slate tomorrow night, traveling to Curry at 7:00 as the Colonals look to avenge a 3-0 loss to the Lynx on October 7.
