Lynx get back above .500 with 3-0 road win at Curry

MILTON, MA -- An outstanding team effort carried the Lynx over Curry in non-conference women's volleyball play Thursday night.

Two-time reigning New England Collegiate Conference Player of the Week Amanda McCracken once again led the Lynx, posting 14 kills on 20 attempts to go along with a solo block and two block assists. Four other players chippped in with at least 10 kill attempts, with sophomore Megan Ortwein totaling 10 kills on 20 attempts and Meaghan Chadwick hitting six on 15 attempts.

Defensively, Chadwick and Caitlin Vandenburgh scooped nine digs each, McCracken added eight and Ortwein chipped in with seven. Junior Kaitlyn Weschler led all players with three solo blocks.

Back above .500 again at 8-7, TJ Hajjar's team takes the weekend off, returning to action Tuesday night in non-league play against Pine Manor College in Chestnut Hill.
