Lynx knock off Knights for fourth consecutive win

Lynx knock off Knights for fourth consecutive win

WARWICK, RI - It was the Lynx first-ever victory over CCRI.

It was also the fourth consecutive win and second 3-0 win this week for the Green and Gold.

Lesley head coach TJ Hajjar called it "the first time [his players] all showed up at the same time."

Call it what you want - the Lynx are on a roll.

Lesley used 18 kills to only three errors from Amanda McCracken to beat the Community College of Rhode Island Thursday night, winning 25-20, 25-15, 25-15.

"It was a well-balanced attack," said Hajjar.

Megan Ortwein totaled seven kills and Meaghan Chadwick added six for the Lynx.

Defensively, Caitlyn Vandenburgh scooped up 10 digs, while Jamie Rosenburg tallied eight in the win.

"Caitlyn was all over the court," he said. "We really played well."

Lesley looks to keep the momentum going after a weekend off, playing host to Suffolk on Monday night at 7:30.
