Lynx fly by Blue Jays for second straight win

CAMBRIDGE, MA -- Lesley improved to 3-5 on the season and 2-0 at home with a convincing 3-0 win over St. Joseph's (CT) Monday night, winning three straight sets 25-18, 25-21 and 25-17.

Sophomore Kate Miller led all players with 32 set assists, setting up the Lynx attack for Amanda McCracken and Kaitlyn Wechsler, who threw down 15 and 12 assists, respectively.

Defensively, Maria Nazzaro came off the bench and totaled 12 digs for TJ Hajjar's club. McCracken and Weschler dominated the net on the defensive end as well, each posting three solo blocks and combining on a block assist.

Hajjar's Lynx hit the road for a mini two-match road trip, traveling to WIT on Wednesday and CCRI on Thursday. Lesley returns home a week from today, playing host to Suffolk next Monday at 7:30 p.m.
